From the founder of In Need of Prayer:
Once again, we here in the United States are mourning yet another senseless shooting. Another massacre. Another mass murder of innocent victims. This time the shooting happened in one of the last places that a shooting should EVER happen - in church! During a Bible study! And, if all of that isn't awful enough, it has been reported that the shooter sat through the whole Bible study, and when it was over, he reportedly stood up and announced that he had to kill everyone there, and said he had to do it because they were black. I have always said that of all of the words that could be put next to each other, I always said that "school shooting" were two words that should never be next to each other. Now we see the words "church shooting" next to each other. That is even more appalling!
THIS VIOLENCE HAS TO STOP! Why is there so much evil in the world! What is wrong with people? There is so much hate in this world.
THE HATRED HAS TO STOP! Why are people so angry? And about what? Sometimes it is the most ridiculous things that set people off and cause them to take innocent lives.
THE RACISM HAS TO STOP! This is even the most startling. How in 2015 is there so much racism, still, after all of these years?
My Christian brothers and sisters, it is time that we stand up for the LORD and for HIS Spirit and bring GOD back into this world and our lives. Our society has spent so much effort trying to give everyone "their rights". It is NEVER right to push GOD out and let everything else in. We as a people have lost our way. We have gotten so far away from what is moral, and right and the Christian way of life that should be the very foundation of everything that we do, say and think. There are so many demonstrations, so many walks for rights, etc. When was the last time that us Christians marched, or demonstrated, or rallied for OUR rights! That's why it seems that people are losing their faith or that it seems that there are less believers today - because we as believers are not doing enough to bring the world back to GOD. We are not standing up for our faith enough. Left up to the world, they will make being a non-believer the norm. We may already be there, I don't know. What I do know is that we, as believers in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, are not doing enough to share with the world our faith and belief in our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.

"Hi everyone. Once again, I ask for all of you to pray for the senseless violence against our kids in the school system. Last time it was Thursday April 7, 2011, when the Associated Press reported
that 12 children at an elementary school were killed, and several more were injured, in Rio de Janeiro when a 24 year old gunman roamed the halls of the school, lined the kids up against a wall and then shot them in the head at point-blank range as he shouted "I'm going to kill you all!".
Now, it is right here in the United States in Newtown, Connecticut.
Why have we now become conditioned to accept this as something that "just happens nowadays"?!
Violence in schools against, and among, our young people is happening everyday here in the US and around the world. Kids should NEVER have to experience such evil, especially in school! What is going on??? What has become of our world that a child is not even safe? At school, no less! Violence, such as this, even happens in churches! What is happening to our world?????!
Please pray for the children, as well as the adults, who were killed and injured, as well as for their families. These were someone's sons and someone's daughters. It doesn't matter if these were kids from middle America, or on the other side of the world. These were someone's children! THESE WERE OUR CHILDREN! These were kids who were loved by families who are now hurting the worst possible pain, just as we would hurt if it happened to any of our kids. I think it is all too easy to not feel the true impact of it all, because it did not happen to us. But just the fact that it is happening at all, and all too often I might add, is reason enough to cause us to realize that we must do something! It doesn't have to be our child that was hurt in order for us to feel the pain.
